Rules of the Trail

Rental Policies

We keep things transparent. Read these before you book — they protect you, us, and the machines.

Security Deposit
A $1,000 security deposit hold is required on a debit or credit card at the time of pickup. No cash accepted. The hold is released upon return of the machine in its original condition.

Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 48 hours before your reservation for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled rental are non-refundable. We appreciate your understanding — our machines are reserved just for you.

Self-Haul Operation
We are fully self-guided and self-haul. You'll drive a truck and trailer to the trailhead of your choice. You are responsible for unloading, loading, and strapping down the machines. Trail maps and guidance provided at pickup.

Age Requirement
All drivers must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license. No exceptions. Passengers of all ages are welcome — safety gear is strongly recommended for all riders.

Zero Tolerance Policy
Absolutely no alcohol, drugs, or any controlled substances during the duration of your rental. Violation results in immediate termination of your rental with no refund issued. Safety is non-negotiable.

Stay on the Trails
All machines must remain on designated trails at all times. Off-trail recovery fees are charged at $200 per hour. Weather-related cancellations on your rental day are non-refundable unless an exception is made at our discretion.

Last-Minute Changes
Need to add or remove a machine from your reservation last minute? Changes made within 48 hours of your rental incur a $100 modification fee per change. Plan ahead and get the most out of your adventure.

Come Prepared
Colorado mountain weather changes fast. Dress in layers, wear closed-toe shoes, and bring eye protection. We are not liable for inadequate attire. Helmets are strongly recommended — it's your ride, your responsibility.

Frequently Asked

No prior off-road experience is required! Our Can-Am Mavericks are designed with intuitive controls and we'll walk you through everything you need to know at pickup. If you can drive a car, you can handle one of our machines. That said, always respect the terrain and ride within your comfort level.

Your rental includes the machine, a truck and trailer for transport, a pre-ride walkthrough, and trail recommendations for Summit County. You are responsible for fuel used during your rental. We recommend bringing snacks, water, sunscreen, and layers — Colorado weather can surprise you at altitude.

Summit County has hundreds of miles of OHV trails accessible from Silverthorne, Frisco, Breckenridge, and surrounding areas. Popular riding areas include the Swan River, Georgia Pass, and Buffalo Mountain trails. We'll give you current trail conditions and recommendations at pickup so you can plan the perfect route.

24-hour rentals are a great option if you want a full sunset-to-sunrise adventure or need flexibility for a multi-trail day. You pick up the machine and keep it for a full 24 hours. Contact us directly to arrange 24-hour bookings as availability is limited and scheduling is done on a case-by-case basis.

Call us immediately. Our machines are well-maintained and mechanically sound, but off-roading always carries inherent risk. If the machine experiences a mechanical failure not caused by driver error or misuse, we'll work with you on a resolution. Damage caused by off-trail riding, rollovers, or negligence falls under the security deposit policy.

Absolutely! We can accommodate groups looking to rent multiple machines at the same time. Contact us directly for group bookings to ensure we can coordinate availability and provide the best experience for your crew. Group rentals are available subject to machine availability — book early, especially for weekends and holidays.

ATVs and snowmobiles are coming soon! We're actively expanding our fleet to offer year-round adventures — whether that's ripping single-track on an ATV in the summer or blazing through powder on a snowmobile in winter.
